The Ball Shooter
The Drive Train
Our drive train is a eighth inch box steel machined part. Inside are Meccanum wheels supported by a quarter inch hex axle with bearings on the edge. This is done two times with a eighty-twenty extrusion holding them together.
Our ball shooter is comprised of a Choo Choo mechanism and a PVC pipe. Our ball shooter is very accurate and scores almost 10 out of 10 times.
Our lift has updated three times to a thin drawer slide lift. Our lift has many 3D parts and can reach it's full height (about 4' 3") in 4.8 seconds.
Our Robot Genesis
About Genesis
Our robot, Genesis, has a lift mechanism, a ball collector, a beacon pressers, and a shooting mechanism. Genesis has Meccanum wheels.
